Alex King, BASc, CNP, CHCP
Alex is a holistic nutritionist whose mission is to educate and empower her clients to eat, look and feel their best. Her passion is to help clients improve their health, achieve their wellness goals and develop sustainable habits to live a healthy and balanced life. She believes that using whole foods, natural products, supplements and practicing healthy lifestyle habits are central to the healing process. Alex became interested in nutrition at the age of 12 and ever since then she’s had a lifelong passion for health, the science of nutrition and overall wellness.
Alex attended Ryerson University in 2012 where she earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Food and Nutrition. From there, she attended The Institute of Holistic Nutrition, graduated with First Class Honours and received her designation as a Certified Nutrition Practitioner (CNP).
Alex has also received her certification as a Certified Holistic Cancer Practitioner (CHCP) from The Edison Institute of Nutrition, certification for Live Blood Cell Analysis (LBCA) from The Edison Institute of Nutrition and her certification for Quantum Reflex Analysis (QRA) through Premier Research Labs.
As a Holistic Nutritionist, she works to optimize the health of individuals through diet, lifestyle and supplements. She believes in taking an individualized approach, rather than a “one-size-fits-all” approach. She does this through assessing the whole person including emotions, environment, nutritional status, and lifestyle habits in order to understand their whole well-being and get to the root cause of where the issues began.
